Mediterránea is a Humanitarian Aid Non Governmental Organization founded in 1999 in Mallorca, Spain and  registered with the Balearic Islands Government (No.Reg: Gov.Balear:3818) and with the Calvia town hall (No.Reg Calvia:125).

Mediterránea defines itself as:
Non political, non-denominational, impartial, independent, and primarily dedicated to alleviating the suffering of children, improving their life expectancy and assisting their development, education and quality of life.

Funding:
Mediterranea is financed through private donations, fund-raising organizations and events, and membership quotas.  As a Non Governmental Organization we do not accept funds from Governments.
